Karam Singh has a diverse work experience across multiple industries. Karam started their career as an intern at Maybank in 2016, where they engaged with corporate clients and conducted research on clients and products. Karam then worked as a Relationship Manager in the Business Banking department at Maybank, managing existing customer relationships and conducting qualitative credit analysis.
In 2018, Karam joined Global Intellectual Development Group as a Business Development Consultant, where they engaged with new and existing clients, performed market research, and collaborated with executives to establish company objectives.
In 2019, they transitioned to Hudson, a talent solutions company, where they started as a Recruitment Consultant. Karam specialized in Data & Analytics recruitment and worked across the contract and permanent market. Karam later became a Senior Talent Specialist, recruiting for various sectors across Australia.
Currently, Karam holds the position of Talent Sourcer at Tic:Toc, where they are responsible for sourcing and recruiting talent across all functions. Karam is also the Talent Acquisition Manager at Tic:Toc, overseeing the development of talent acquisition strategies, employer branding, and managing the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process.
Karam Singh obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance, General from the University of Adelaide, where they studied from 2013 to 2016. Additionally, they have acquired several certifications in various areas such as change advocacy, workplace equity, cross-cultural intelligence, diversity recruiting, inclusive conversations, confronting bias, diversity and inclusion, allyship, advanced user skills, agile foundations, interviewing job candidates, LinkedIn recruiting, performance-based hiring, recruiting foundations, talent sourcing, and technical recruiting. These certifications were obtained from LinkedIn and JobAdder, with the latest certifications being completed in November and December 2021.
