Wen Cao

Wen Cao is an experienced professional in performance improvement and health systems engineering, currently serving as the Director of Performance Improvement at TidalHealth since April 2015, following roles as a Health System Data Consultant and a Performance Improvement Consultant. Wen also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Faculty member at Salisbury University's Perdue School of Business from January 2017 to May 2021, where courses taught included Intermediate Business Statistics and Operations Management. Earlier experience includes a postdoctoral research associate position at Binghamton University and several roles at UHS Hospitals, culminating as a Performance Improvement Engineer and Team Lead from January 2011 to August 2014. Wen holds a PhD and a Master of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Binghamton University, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in Safety Engineering from Capital University of Economics and Business.
