Ben Dewar-Powell

Ben Dewar-Powell is the CISO at Tide. Prior to Tide, they were the Technical Director at Digital Assurance from July 2011 to December 2018. Before that, they were the Managing Security Consultant at Nebulas Solutions Group from September 2007 to July 2011. Ben started their career as a Systems Administrator at YES Group from June 2004 to August 2007.

Ben Dewar-Powell has a degree in Information Security and Computer Crime from the University of South Wales, as well as a degree in E-Commerce (BSc. Hons) from the University of Wales, Newport. Ben also has A Levels from Crosskeys Campus, Coleg Gwent, and GCSEs from WEST MONMOUTH COMPREHENSIVE. Additionally, they are certified by Crest in Infrastructure Certified Tester (ICE) and Application Certified Tester (ACE), as well as by CESG in Check Team Leader (CTL) and Check Team Member (CTM). Ben is also qualified by the Tiger Scheme as a Qualified Security Team Member (QSTM).

Ben Dewar-Powell reports to Oliver Prill, CEO. They are on a team with Liza Haskell - Chief Administrative Officer, Rebecca Marriott - VP, Risk & Compliance, and Heather Cobb - VP, Member Engagement Marketing.
