Domain Agile Lead at Tide

Nikolay Gashev's work experience includes various roles in different companies. Nikolay started their career at AIESEC International, where they served as the Director of Talent Management and Leadership Development from May 2008 to May 2011. Nikolay also led the Leadership Development Consulting Team on a part-time basis from August 2010 to August 2011.

Later, Gashev worked at Vale, where they were involved in Strategic Workforce Planning and Transformation from October 2011 to April 2013. Nikolay then joined ING Belgium as a Strategic Advisory and Program Management professional from February 2014 to April 2016.

Gashev had a significant role in ING, where they served as the Business Manager to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of ING Belgium and ING Netherlands. From April 2016 to September 2019, they orchestrated the design of a new agile organizational model, implemented the Tribe model of Spotify, and developed the ING Agile Way of Working. Nikolay also managed the COO cross-country executive teams in both Belgium and the Netherlands and facilitated the creation of design principles and a new organizational model for client interfacing activities.

From November 2019 to September 2022, Gashev worked at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a Senior Consultant. Nikolay'sresponsibilities included enabling key clients to adopt a scaled Agile operating model and completing various client engagements related to Agile implementation, change management, and Agile ways of working at different organizations.

Currently, Gashev is working at Tide as a Domain Agile Lead, starting in October 2022.

Additionally, Gashev served as an Advisory Board Member at AIESEC Amsterdam from March 2021 to September 2022.

Nikolay Gashev obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Business and Trade from the University Of National and World Economy, Sofia, Bulgaria, from 2005 to 2009. Furthermore, they acquired several additional certifications throughout their career, including OKR Certification: Leadership and Goal Setting from Measure What Matters | OKR Resources in July 2023, Certified SAFe® 6 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in May 2023, Kanban System Design from Kanban University in November 2020, and Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) from Scrum.org in December 2019. Nikolay also holds certifications in Certificate Prep: PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP®), Agile at Work: Reporting with Agile Charts and Boards, Organizational Culture, ADKAR - Change Management, and Gamification - University of Pennsylvania, obtained in 2019, 2017, and 2015 respectively. Additionally, Nikolay possesses the PRINCE 2 Foundation certification from APMG-International in September 2014, and the Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) and First Certificate in English (FCE) from the University of Cambridge ESOL in June 2005 and June 2004 respectively.
