Tapan Patro

Tapan Patro has extensive work experience in the technology field, with their most recent role being a Senior Data Scientist at Tide. Tapan joined the company in January 2023 and is currently employed. Prior to joining Tide, Tapan worked at Quantiphi as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer from April 2022 to January 2023, and as a Machine Learning Engineer from December 2020 to May 2022. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer at ATMECS Inc from March 2018 to December 2020. Additionally, Tapan held the position of Software Engineer at CloudEdz from November 2018 to March 2019, and Android Developer at Smaap Technologies Pvt ltd from August 2015 to September 2017.

Tapan Patro completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering from SOA University Corporate Relation, from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they pursued their C.H.S.E degree in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from Khallikote Consultancy, from 2009 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Tapan Patro has obtained several certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. Tapan obtained the following certifications: Machine Learning Explainability from Kaggle in July 2022, Accelerating End-to-End Data Science Workflows from NVIDIA in February 2022, Fundamentals of Accelerated Computing with CUDA Python from NVIDIA in February 2022, Practical Machine Learning with Tensorflow from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras in June 2020, and Associate Android Developer from Google in August 2017.
