Tarun Varma

Tarun Varma has an extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Tarun currently works at Tide as the Lead Product Manager since July 2022. Prior to this, they were a Senior Product Manager at Tide from May 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining Tide, Tarun worked at Recko Inc. from March 2020 to May 2021 as a Product Manager. Recko Inc. was later acquired by Stripe. At Recko, Tarun led the product team in building a consumer-grade SaaS platform for internet businesses, focusing on automation of processes in tracking money movement at the transaction level.

Tarun's earlier experiences include working at Mastercard Data & Services, where they held various positions. Tarun was an Associate Managing Consultant from March 2019 to February 2020, a Senior Consultant from September 2017 to February 2019, and a Consultant from April 2016 to August 2017.

Prior to joining Mastercard, Tarun worked at EXL in 2015 as part of the Decision Analytics team. Tarun'sresponsibilities included credit limit optimization for the corporate portfolio and improving default rate prediction for companies.

Tarun also has research experience as a UG Research Fellow at WMG, University of Warwick from May 2013 to July 2013, and at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi from April 2012 to June 2012.

Tarun Varma completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bhubaneswar in the years 2010-2014. After that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, studying from 2014 to 2016.
