Tiago Bencardino

Tiago Bencardino has a diverse work experience in the field of iOS and Android app development. Tiago started their career as a Freelancer, working on various iOS and Android apps. Tiago then joined XSEED Software & Consultoria, where they developed a framework for migrating COBOL systems to iOS native. Tiago also led POC implementations for digital TVs. Later, they worked as an Android Developer at Grupo de Redes de Computadores, Engenharia de Software e Sistemas (GREat) where they customized ROMs for clients like LG and later moved to app development. After that, they worked as an iOS Developer at AppMonk ApS, focusing on developing the Brain+ brain training app. Tiago then joined Weelo, a startup, where they applied Lean Startup concepts for business validation of their event guide and chat app. Tiago continued their career at GoConqr as an iOS Developer, developing learning apps for students and teachers. Tiago then worked as a Senior iOS Developer at Wipro Digital, consulting at Lloyds Banking Group and being responsible for the release cycle and processes of all LBG apps for iOS. Currently, Tiago is the Head of Engineering, Mobile at Tide, leading the mobile team in migrating native iOS and Android apps to Flutter. Tiago ensures the apps are in the best shape while empowering the team to achieve their goals.

Tiago Bencardino completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Teleinformatic Engineering with an emphasis on Software Development from the Federal University of Ceara. Tiago attended the university from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, they obtained the Oracle Certified Java Programmer SE 6 certification from Oracle in April 2011 and the iOS 11 First Look for Developers certification from LinkedIn in October 2017.
