Prior to that, from 2005 to 2010, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from the same institution. Apart from their academic degrees, Doug has obtained several certifications. In May 2011, they became a Certified Public Accountant through the North Carolina State Board of CPA Examiners. Doug further expanded their credentials by becoming a Certified Fraud Examiner through the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) in August 2013. Additionally, Doug earned the certification of Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in April 2013.
