Lauren Hanford

VP of Product at Tidelift

Lauren Hanford has obtained a diverse range of work experience throughout their career. Starting in 2002, they worked as a Web Developer and IT support for PPD, where they were responsible for server maintenance and developing and maintaining websites. In 2004, they became a Web Developer at Reged, Inc before transitioning to a role as a Graphic Designer at Barefoot Press in 2006. Lauren then worked as a Graphic Designer at NCSU from 2007 to 2007. In the same year, they also became an Art Director at UNC-Chapel Hill. Starting from 2012, they served as the Head of Design at VIF International Education until 2017, when they became the Head of User Experience at Participate (Education). In 2018, they joined Tidelift as a Senior Designer and gradually progressed to the role of Head of Design, then Head of Product and Design, and finally as the VP of Product, a position they currently hold. Additionally, they also serve as a UX Academy Mentor at Designlab, starting from 2021. Prior to their professional roles, Lauren worked as an Independent Design Consultant at Partridge House Design in 2007.

Lauren Hanford's education history includes studying Graphic Design at North Carolina State University, where they obtained a BGD degree. Lauren also pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the same university. Additionally, they participated in a Letterpress program at the London College of Communication.
