Dr. Jose A. Valentin

Dr. Jose A. Valentin, PhD, LPC, LMHC, is an experienced clinical psychologist and licensed professional counselor, currently serving as the independent owner of Existential Counseling and Consulting Services, LLC. Dr. Valentin has also provided counseling services at Tides of Mind Counseling since January 2022 and previously contributed to outpatient services at Community Services Institute from November 2018 to August 2022. With a strong emphasis on neuropsychological evaluations and a diverse therapeutic practice, Dr. Valentin has extensive experience addressing a broad range of psychological issues across various populations, including children, families, and individuals managing conditions like addiction, anxiety, and mood disorders. Dr. Valentin obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology and holds multiple degrees from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Puerto Rico, including a Master of Science in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
