Remco Baars

Remco Baars has worked in various roles in the visual design field since 1996. Remco began their career as a Graphic Designer at De Groot Drukkerij, where they worked on desktop publishing. In 2000, they started working as a Freelance Graphic Designer at Veronica Concept Design and as a Graphic Designer at Hemels Publishers, where they worked on magazines for Mercedes Benz, KLM, and UWV. That same year, they also began working as an Art Director at Reclamebureau Aquitte, transitioning from off-line to on-line design. From 2001 to 2008, they worked as an Art Director and Senior Visual Designer at Breedveld Mobiele Wandsystemen and TIE Kinetix, respectively. In 2018, they began working as a Freelance Art Director and Senior Visual Designer at Strict. Remco is currently the Owner and Art Director of Studio Beet Vormgeving, where they work on visual design in its broadest sense, from graphic design to 2D and 3D visuals and animation video creation.

Remco Baars attended Grafisch Lyceum Utrecht from 1990 to 1995.
