Christy Strashek, CFA

Christy Strashek, CFA has an extensive work experience in the financial services industry. Christy began their career in 2006 as an Equity Research Associate at Canaccord Genuity Inc., where they focused on power, pipelines & utilities and played a key role in initiating and maintaining coverage of 20 companies. In 2009, they moved to Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management Canada as VP of the Retail Products Group, researching and evaluating a variety of investment opportunities across multiple sectors. From 2013 to 2017, they worked as VP at Assembly Stakeholder Relations. Christy then joined Adaptable Capital Management Inc. (ACMI) as an Equity Research Analyst, investing long and short primarily in U.S. In 2019, they became Director of Research at Canalyst. Most recently, they were appointed as an Independent Board Director at Tier One Silver in 2021.

Christy Strashek, CFA obtained their CFA from the CFA Institute in 2009. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) from The University of British Columbia in 2004, with a major in Finance and Marketing.
