Anne Suntiainen-Nurmi

Anne Suntiainen-Nurmi has a diverse work experience. Anne is currently working as a Project Manager at Kuntien Tiera Oy since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Manager at Sarastia Oy from January 2015 to April 2022. Before that, they were an ICT-project Specialist at KuntaPro Oy from October 2011 to January 2015. In 2010, they took a Gap year and worked as a Sopc webmaster in the USA from January 2010 to July 2011. Anne also has experience as a web designer at the municipality of Janakkala from April 2008 to April 2010, and as a Researcher at the Regional Council of Häme from March 2004 to April 2008. Their earliest work experience was as a Researcher at the University of Tampere from June 2001 to December 2002.

Anne Suntiainen-Nurmi has a diverse education history spanning several institutions and fields of study. Anne began their academic journey at the University of Tampere from 1991 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in General History with a focus on Finnish history. Returning to their studies in 2006, Anne attended HAMK University of Applied Sciences for three years, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Information Technology in 2009. In 2010, they furthered their education by completing basic studies in Communication (25 ECTS credits) at the University of Helsinki/Open University. Most recently, from 2020 to 2022, they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Information Management and Digital Archiving at Xamk - South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences. Despite the chronological breaks between their educational pursuits, Anne displays an ongoing commitment to expanding their knowledge in both historical and business-related fields.
