Whitney Loewen is a National Advisory Panel Member for the National LINC Online Curriculum at Achēv and has been working as the Manager of e-Learning and Special Projects at The Immigrant Education Society since November 2016. Prior to this, Whitney worked as a Research Assistant at GMP FirstEnergy from May 2012 to November 2016. Whitney holds a Certificate in Adult Learning specializing in E-Learning from the University of Calgary, a Diploma in New Media Production and Design from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Manitoba.

Founded in 1988, we envision an inclusive and pluralistic society that provides innovative language education, customized employment training and placement, and integration services to newcomers and Canadians based on best practices.
