Pasi Iljin

Pasi Iljin has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Pasi currently holds the role of Lead Cloud Strategist and Head of Cloud Platform, Azure at Tietoevry Banking since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Tietoevry as the Head of Cloud Platforms at Tietoevry Care and also served as the Chief Architect from August 2019 to January 2022. Pasi also worked at Tieto as the Chief Architect, Data Driven business from August 2016 to August 2019, the Head of Technology and Foresight from July 2014 to July 2016, and the Head of Strategy, Technology and Solution Development from May 2013 to June 2014. Pasi has also held positions at Ixonos as Senior Vice President and country manager USA from June 2012 to May 2013, at Tieto Oyj as the Head of Strategic Technologies from September 2011 to June 2012, at Ixonos as the CTO from December 2010 to September 2011, and at Elcoteq Design Center Oy as the SW Design Group Manager from May 2005 to August 2006. Additionally, they have worked at Varian Medical Systems Finland Oy as an SW Architect & Systems Engineering Manager from January 2005 to May 2005, as a Systems Project Manager from January 2003 to December 2004, and as a Project Manager from April 1996 to December 2002. Pasi began their career as an SW Engineer at Oy LM Ericsson AB from April 1994 to March 1996.

Pasi Iljin earned an MSc in Applied Physics from the University of Turku from 1988 to 1994. From 2010 to 2015, they attended the Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku and obtained an eMBA through the Future Executive Leadership Program.
