Roar Gjøvaag has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Roar started their career as a Production Worker/Meat Cutter at Gilde, gaining experience in safety procedures and physical demands. Roar then served as a Platoon Assistant and Corporal in the National Guard, where they received training in military skills and acted in stressful situations.
Following this, Roar worked as a Cook and Production Assistant at Torgkafeen Byåsen AS, demonstrating their culinary skills.
