Teemu Vähäkainu

Teemu Vähäkainu has a diverse work experience spanning across different companies and roles. Teemu is currently working at Tietoevry as the Head of Health for Tietoevry Care. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President and Head of Healthcare at Tieto from 2020 to 2022. Before joining Tieto, Teemu worked at FARA ASA as the CTO and R&D Manager for software, as well as at Buscom Oy, where they held various roles including CTO, Head of Software Development, and Lead System Architect. Their responsibilities involved overseeing software development, system architecture, solution functionality, and managing international partners and vendors. Overall, Teemu has extensive experience in the healthcare and intelligent transport systems sectors.

Teemu Vähäkainu obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from K-P Ammattikorkeakoulu, where they studied from 1994 to 1999. Teemu also attended the University of Oulu starting in 2001.
