Thomas McGowan

Director of FP&A at Tiffany & Co.

Thomas McGowan is the current Director of FP&A at Tiffany & Co. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Finance for Digital and Marketing at Bed Bath & Beyond from October 2021 to July 2022. In this role, they were responsible for directing the creation of the marketing budget for the full enterprise, improving brand image, and conducting sensitivity and user acceptance testing for enhancing the success of digital platforms. Thomas also mentored three Senior Analysts in the development of proforma P&L's, periodic KPI reporting and ROAS analyses based on ERP database metrics.

Previously, McGowan worked as a Senior Finance Manager for Brand Marketing at adidas from August 2014 to October 2021. In this role, they acted as a financial advisor and business partner to the VP of Marketing/Finance and entirety of the Reebok Marketing organization. Thomas delivered best-in-class support by giving recommendations to enable and drive fact-based decision-making that aligned to the organizational strategy and key priorities. Thomas also led a team of two Senior Financial Analysts to deliver financial planning, forecasting and tracking processes while ensuring compliance to all Global policies.

Before adidas, McGowan worked as a Financial Analyst for Global Finance at Lifetime Brands from December 2008 to August 2014.

Thomas McGowan attended Fordham University where they earned their bachelor’s degree in accounting. Thomas also holds a certification from 8450 in Certified Public Accountant.
