Emily Allen Nilsen

Emily Allen Nilsen has extensive teaching experience in various educational settings, currently serving as a 4th Grade Two Way Immersion Teacher at Tigard-Tualatin School District since June 2017. Previously, Emily worked as a TEFL Teacher Trainer with the Peace Corps in Nicaragua from August 2014 to March 2017, and as a 6th-8th ELA and Science Teacher at Molalla River Academy between August 2011 and June 2014. Earlier roles include an Outdoor School Field Instructor at North West Regional Educational School District and a 3rd Grade Student Teacher at Stephenson Elementary. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Graceland University, earned in 2011.
