Varun began their career in 2012 as a Programming Analyst at Cognizant, where they were responsible for requirement analysis, design, development, and unit testing of an account management .NET portal. Varun also created web-based management tools such as resource planner, utilization tracker, and compliance reporting.

In 2016, Varun joined Deloitte as a Consultant - Associate Solution Advisor. Here, they extensively worked on a data remediation exercise for a large insurance client, performing a detailed data quality assessment and implementing a remediation plan using Oracle EDQ. Varun then transitioned to the role of Consultant - Solution Advisor, where they assisted retail clients in achieving increased profitability through data mining, exploration, modeling, and effective visualizations. Varun also conducted market basket analysis to identify product associations and create product bundles for boosting sales.

At Deloitte, Varun continued to grow professionally and became a Senior Consultant in 2019.
