Jose Luis Merino Ayala

Jose Luis Merino Ayala currently serves as the Director of Engineering at Tigo El Salvador, a position held since January 2017. Prior to this role, Jose held the title of Chief Technology and Information Officer from April 2008 to January 2016 at the same company, where responsibilities included overseeing telecommunication network information technology. Additionally, Jose served as the Head of Quality, ensuring end-to-end quality of experience, and has experience as a CTO, focusing on network infrastructure encompassing GSM and WCDMA networks and value-added platforms. Jose holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de El Salvador.
