Jayanth Channagiri

Jayanth Channagiri has a diverse range of work experience. Jayanth is currently working at TiHive Technologies as an R&D Engineer and Lab Manager since March 2020. In this role, they are responsible for setting up and managing a test and validation laboratory for the terahertz system. Jayanth also designs and implements intelligent computer systems to support complex laboratory tests.

Before joining TiHive Technologies, Jayanth worked as a Research and Testing Engineer at the same company from February 2019 to March 2020. During this time, they played a key role in setting up a test and validation laboratory for the terahertz system. Jayanth also defined the characterization processes and products analyzed by the system. Additionally, they designed and implemented intelligent computer systems for laboratory validation tests.

Prior to their role at TiHive Technologies, Jayanth worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at CEA - Commissariat à l'énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives from July 2016 to August 2018. During their time there, they conducted detailed characterizations of Ni-InGaAs-InP samples and performed experiments at the European Synchrotron. Jayanth also developed data analysis programs and communicated with industries regarding equipment purchases and experiments.

Jayanth's work experience also includes a PhD position at Institut de Recherche sur les Céramiques from October 2012 to November 2015. Jayanth has also volunteered at Inter Europa Rioja from January 2012 to July 2012, and at Pratham, an NGO focused on improving education, from 2009 to 2011.

Jayanth Channagiri completed their education in a chronological order. Jayanth obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Physics, Maths, and Electronics from Yuvaraja's College, University of Mysore, from 2006 to 2009. Jayanth then pursued a Master of Physics degree with a specialization in Crystallography from the University of Mysore, from 2009 to 2011. Jayanth further pursued their academic aspirations and acquired a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Materials Science from Université de Limoges, from 2012 to 2015.
