Aby Chacko

Aby Chacko has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Aby'smost recent position was as the Head of Energy Services at tiko Energy Solutions AG, where they were responsible for managing the tiko platform, a Virtual Power Plant and Smart Home Energy Management system. Aby played a key role in deploying real-time Smart Grids and delivering a wide range of energy services. Prior to this, they served as a Director at Waves Electronics Pvt. Ltd., where they had a leadership role. Before that, they worked at Swissgrid AG as a System specialist for ancillary services for nearly a decade, contributing to the efficient functioning of the electrical grid. Aby also gained valuable engineering experience at Driescher Moosburg Eisleben and Siemens AG, where they held positions as an Engineer and Trainee Engineer, respectively.

Aby Chacko has a diverse education history. In 1995, they completed their B-Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering, Adoor. From 1999 to 2001, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications at the National Institute of Technology Calicut. In 2003, they obtained a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences in Karlsruhe, Germany. In 2012, Aby pursued a Master's degree in Business Engineering Management from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW in Brugg, Switzerland, completing it in 2014. Recently, from 2020 to 2022, they completed an Executive MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.
