Helga Popescu

Helga Popescu is an experienced legal professional with a diverse background in law and legal operations. Currently serving as a Law Enforcement Specialist in T&S Legal Policy Operations at TikTok since November 2021, Helga previously worked at Ryanair in various roles, including Litigation Legal Executive and Legal Claims Administrator, from January 2017 to November 2021. Earlier experience includes positions as a Legal Translator at both Word Perfect Translations and the European Court of Human Rights, as well as an Assistant Lawyer at the Council of Europe. Helga holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from Europa-Institut, Saarland University, a Diploma in Legal Studies and Practice from Griffith College Dublin, and a Bachelor's degree in Law from the Faculty of Law, University of Craiova. Additional training includes short courses in International Merger Control and Transport of Goods by Sea, constitutionalization of EU Law, and business rescue during financial crises.
