Kate Jhaveri has a diverse and extensive work experience. Kate is currently the Global Head of Marketing at TikTok since November 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Board Member at Outbrain and Chief Marketing Officer at the National Basketball Association (NBA) from 2019 to 2022. Before joining the NBA, they held the position of Chief Marketing Officer at Twitch from 2017 to 2019. Kate also worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Northwestern University Medill School from 2017 to 2018. Earlier in their career, they served as the Head of Consumer Marketing at Twitter from 2013 to 2016 and as part of the Brand & Mobile Marketing team at Facebook from 2010 to 2013. Kate also has experience in consumer and online marketing roles at Microsoft from 2007 to 2010 and in office product marketing and planning at Microsoft from 2003 to 2007. Prior to Microsoft, they were involved in MacBook Product Management at Apple from 2002 to 2003.
