Gubing Wang

Gubing Wang, PhD, is currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Digitalisation for Health and Well-being at Tilburg University since February 2023. Concurrently, Gubing works as a Guest Researcher and Postdoctoral Researcher at Eindhoven University of Technology, focusing on developing co-design methods for healthy behavior change, leading projects on active aging, and guiding student design projects. Gubing also volunteers as a consultant for JAIN, fostering collaborations between Dutch and Chinese organizations on AI technologies for dementia care, and with the Human-centered Design team at the Netherlands Red Cross, enhancing data-enabled humanitarian aid. Prior experience includes a PhD at TU Delft, specializing in human-centered design in dementia care, and an industrial placement at GSK, where Gubing contributed to the development of innovative drug delivery devices. Gubing holds a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Imperial College London.
