Sam Alcoff has had a diverse work experience in various management roles focused on technology and risk management in the financial industry. Sam served as the Chief Operating Officer at Tilden Park Capital Management since 2008. Prior to that, they were the Director of the Security Analytics Group at Drake Management, where they led a team responsible for developing and integrating technology solutions for securities and derivatives analysis. From 2005 to 2008, they were the Director of Strategic Engineering at Distributed Capital, and from 1998 to 2005, they worked at Blackrock as the Head of Software Engineering.
Sam Alcoff attended the Delbarton School from 1986 to 1990, where they did not receive a specific degree or field of study. Following this, from 1990 to 1994, Alcoff enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History and Sociology of Science. During the same period, they also pursued a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSE) from the University of Pennsylvania. Alcoff then went on to attend the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law from 1994 to 1997, specializing in Intellectual Property, and obtained a Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
