Stathis Maroulis

Stathis Maroulis is a Senior Site Reliability Engineer currently at TileDB since June 2023, previously holding the position of Staff Software Engineer (SRE/Platform) at Blueground from January to May 2023. Prior to these roles, Stathis served as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at FREENOW from November 2019 to January 2023, focusing on CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, Change Data Capture, and the Hadoop Cluster Ecosystem, among other technologies. Stathis began the career as a Site Reliability Engineer - Big Data at BEAT and completed a PhD in Computer Science at Athens University of Economics and Business, where Stathis was also a PhD researcher from July 2015 to December 2021. Stathis holds a Master’s Degree in Information Systems and a Bachelor’s Degree in Informatics and Telecommunications from relevant institutions.
