Nana Gyasi-Agyei has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 2021, they worked as a Customer Onboarding Specialist at Till Payments. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2021, they were an Audio Technician at Monitor City Pty Ltd, where they handled the maintenance, installation, and operation of audio production equipment for various events. Nana also worked as a Fire Door Trainee at Bowsers from 2015 to 2017, specializing in passive fire protection and BCA compliance. In 2013, they had two roles: as a Civil Cadet at McNab, where they gained site exposure and experience in project management and contract administration, and as an Administration Attendant (Surveying) at Maurice Blackburn Lawyers, where they were involved in surveying areas affected by Queensland floods. Nana's earliest work experience was as a Student Civil Engineer at QR National in 2011, where they gained practical experience in civil engineering and project management.
Nana Gyasi-Agyei pursued their Bachelor of Audio Production degree in Audio Engineering from SAE Institute Australia from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree with an Extended Major in Civil Engineering from the University of Queensland, Brisbane, from 2009 to 2012. In 2009 to 2011, Nana also had a college residency at St John's College, University of Queensland. Nana attended North Rockhampton State High School from 2004 to 2008. In addition, Nana obtained the certification "Work Safely in the Construction Industry" from the Queensland Government in August 2010.
