Director Of Environment & Community Impact at TILLAMOOK COUNTY CREAMERY ASSOCIATION

Jocelyn Bridson has a diverse range of work experience in the environmental and conservation field. Jocelyn most recently worked as the Director of Environment & Community Impact at Tillamook County Creamery Association since February 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Environmental Science & Resources at Rio Farms from August 2011 to February 2020. Additionally, they were the Chair of the Environmental Farming Act Science Advisory Panel at the California Department of Food & Agriculture from November 2013 to January 2020. Jocelyn has also worked as a Low Impact Development Science Intern at the Natural Resources Defense Council, a Biological Science Technician at the U.S. Geological Survey, and a Teaching Assistant in the Environmental Studies Department at the University of California Santa Barbara. Jocelyn has experience in community outreach and program management as the Community Programs Manager at Save The Bay, a Naturalist at the USDA Forest Service, and the WildLink Program Manager at NatureBridge. Jocelyn has also worked as a Project Coordinator/Editor at Gathering Waters Conservancy.

Jocelyn Bridson holds a Master of Environmental Science & Management degree with a concentration in Water Resource Management from the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Jocelyn earned this degree from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, Jocelyn completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on Biological Aspects of Conservation and a minor in Environmental Studies.

In addition to their formal education, Jocelyn Bridson has also obtained certifications in the field of agriculture. Jocelyn is a Certified Crop Adviser - Sustainability Specialist, which they received from the American Society of Agronomy in February 2017. Jocelyn is also a Certified Crop Adviser for California and International regions, which they obtained in October 2014.
