Environment And Community Impact Specialist at TILLAMOOK COUNTY CREAMERY ASSOCIATION

Shannon Tivona has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Most recently, they worked as an Environment and Community Impact Specialist at the Tillamook County Creamery Association, starting in November 2022. Prior to this, Shannon was a Product Manager at Bon Appétit Management Company from December 2021 to November 2022. They had previously served as a Jr. Product Manager and Fellow at the same company, where they managed product lifecycles, wrote JIRA tickets, and raised awareness about food and sustainability issues from December 2019 to December 2021.

Shannon also worked as the Founding Operations Lead at Frontline Foods from March 2020 to February 2021, where they coordinated meals between restaurants, hospitals, and donors and strategized ways to support female, minority, and BIPOC-owned businesses.

Additionally, Shannon gained experience at Eckerd College, where they held multiple roles such as Resident Advisor, Intern for the Office of Sustainability, and Facilitator for the Leadership and Self Discovery Course. They also served as the Director of Culinary Relations at the Eckerd College Organization of Students, acting as a liaison between students and Bon Appétit food service.

Other notable experiences include being a Ropes Course Facilitator at Common Ground Adventures Inc and the University of South Florida, a Lead Intern at the St. Petersburg Greenhouse, and a Head Ropes Course Facilitator at URJ Camp George. Lastly, Shannon interned with the Eco Hostel Project at the St. Petersburg Greenhouse, assisting in the creation of an International Eco Hostel.

Shannon Tivona attended Eckerd College from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies. In 2016, they also attended Massey University for a short period to pursue another Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies.

In terms of additional certifications, Shannon obtained the "Learning Microsoft Power Apps" certification from LinkedIn in November 2022. Shannon also received certifications in "Tech Fundamentals" from Product Institute in April 2022 and "User Experience Circuit" from General Assembly in April 2019. Prior to their college education, Shannon acquired the "Level 2 Challenge Course Facilitator" certification from Challenges Unlimited Inc. in June 2015 and the "Level 1 Challenge Course Facilitator" certification from Adventure Experiences Inc. in May 2014.
