Customer Success Lead & Product Owner at Tiller Money

Heather Phillips has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Heather started their career at University Unions Marketing Technology and Design, where they worked as a User Experience User Interface Designer, Web Site Coordinator, Student Consultant, and Summer Conference Administrator. During this time, they gained experience in website improvement, usability, information architecture, and customer service.

Afterwards, Heather worked at the Town of Elkton as a Web Site Intern, where they redesigned and coded their website, as well as trained a colleague on website maintenance.

Heather then moved on to Tele-Consultants, Inc., where they held multiple roles simultaneously. As a Knowledge and Community Manager, their responsibilities included organizing the company's knowledge base, developing training materials, and transitioning users to SharePoint online. In addition, Heather also took on the position of Network Administrator, despite having no prior training, and successfully provided IT support, maintained servers, and switched communications to Office 365. Heather also worked as a User Experience Architect, where they ensured that customer software development requirements were met, coordinated user testing, and provided feedback to improve the product.

In 2015, Heather joined Tiller Money as a Customer Success Lead & Product Owner, where they focused on customer onboarding, analyzed customer feedback for product improvements, and provided timely support and guidance to customers.

Alongside their other roles, Heather also operated as the Owner of Small Acts Media, LLC from 2015 to 2018. Heather worked as a freelance consultant, assisting small businesses with media, marketing, web design, user experience, customer experience, and brand management, with the goal of enhancing their online presence and customer satisfaction.

Heather Phillips attended James Madison University from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Arts and Design with a focus on Interactive Media.
