Chris Deaton - Shrm-Scp

Chris Deaton has extensive work experience in human resources, holding various roles throughout their career. They began their career at Quokka Sports in 1995, starting as the Director of Finance & Administration before transitioning to the role of Senior Manager of Human Resources. After leaving Quokka Sports in 2001, they joined Vayusphere as a Senior Manager of Human Resources. In 2003, Chris became the Director of Human Resources at Weathernews Americas, where they stayed until 2006. They then joined Inspired Partnerships as a Senior Human Resources Consultant. Chris's most recent and current position is with Tillster, Inc., where they have held multiple positions since 2008. They started as the Director of Human Resources and worked their way up to the role of Vice President of Human Resources. Currently, they hold the position of VP, Human Resources.

Chris Deaton - SHRM-SCP, SPHR has a Professional Development Certificate in Human Resources Management from SFSU College of Extended Learning. Additionally, they hold a B.A. of Social Science from the University of Tasmania, with a minor in English Literature and Mathematics. They obtained their SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in March 2015 and their Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification from HRCI in January 2021.
