Josh Broder is the Chairman & CEO at Tilson Technology Management.
Josh has a long history of working in technology-related fields. Josh started their career in the US Army, where they served as an Army Signal Officer. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating communications links between various locations in Central Asia, including Afghanistan and Pakistan. Josh also engineered the communications support for the US humanitarian response to the 2005 earthquake in Pakistan.
After their time in the Army, Josh became the President of the Maine Fiber Company. Josh led the company through its business formation, staffing, regulatory approvals, public outreach, funding, and network build-out of a federally and private equity funded, 1,100 mile fiber optic network. The company was acquired by FirstLight after Josh successfully completed its $32MM network build-out.
Most recently, Josh has been working as the Chairman & CEO at Tilson Technology Management. In this role, they provide strategic vision and leadership for all aspects of Tilson’s business, from sales and marketing to operations and finance. Under Josh’s leadership, Tilson has become one of the fastest-growing network deployment and IT professional services firms in the country.
Josh Broder's educational career includes a BA in Theirtory from Middlebury College, an Advanced Certificate in Entrepreneurship from AT&T Operation Hand Salute, and a Minor in Military Studies from the University of Vermont.
