Elisabetta Romano

Elisabetta Romano is an Italian citizen, born in Milan, Italy, with a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Salerno – Fisciano (Italy) in 1987. She has over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications, information technology and media industry. , in the United States and Europe. Prior to being appointed, on July 1, 2018, Chief Technology Officer of Telecom Italia SpA, Romano developed her career at the Ericsson Group, where she worked from 1998 to 2018, holding various senior management positions. She was honored as one of the 2017 Top 50 Women in Technology by the National Diversity Council. She is currently Director of Innovation and Partnership at Telecom Italia SpA She has been a member of the board of TIM Ventures SrL since May 2019 and of the board of INWIT SPA since March 2020.
