Gamal Abdel Baky has a substantial amount of experience in human resources and consulting. Gamal began their career in 2002 as HR Director at Kuwait Food Company, where they implemented HR policies and procedures and played a role in change management initiatives. In 2016, they were promoted to Regional Talent Management Director, where they developed successful guest expert solutions and designed Assessment & Development Centers. In 2017, they joined North Star ME as a Principal Consultant, managing projects and linking strategic directions to human capital interventions. In 2019, they became a Senior Human Capital Consultant at ABAMI Consultancy, focusing on HR strategies, organization development, recruitment and selection systems, learning and development solutions, and performance management. Gamal currently holds the position of Regional Human Resources Director for Tim Hortons - Middle East.

Gamal Abdel Baky has a Bachelor's degree in Hotel/Motel Administration/Management from the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management, which they obtained from 1985 to 1989. Gamal also holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Human Resources Development from the Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, which they completed from 2019 to 2021. In addition, they have obtained various certifications and training in fields such as facilitation skills, success profile development, strategic planning and performance management, assessment centers, recruitment & selection, and psychometric testing.
