William Estes, CFA has extensive work experience in the investment industry. William is currently the Director of Acquisitions at Timbers Company, where they are responsible for overseeing the acquisition process. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Acquisitions & Investment Analyst from April 2021 to July 2023 at the same company.

Before joining Timbers Company, William worked at Gerber Taylor from July 2013 to March 2021. During their time there, they held two different roles. First, as an Investment Analyst - Hedge Funds & Public Equities from January 2018 to March 2021, they were a member of a 10-person investment team that managed $5.8 billion in discretionary assets across various asset classes. Later, as an Investment Analyst - Private Equity & Real Assets from July 2013 to December 2017, they evaluated managers and investment opportunities in illiquid strategies such as buyouts, venture capital, distressed debt, real estate, infrastructure, and energy.

William Estes, CFA holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics and Commerce & Business from Rhodes College, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended Winter Park High School from 2006 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter from the CFA Institute in 2017 and obtained a Real Estate Financial Modeling Certification from Wall Street Prep in a year not specified.
