Marina Jackman

Marina Jackman has seven years of professional experience. In 2016, they began working as a Strategic Communications Consultant at Public Affairs Experts. The following year, they took on a Press Office Assistant role at the European Commission Representation in Barcelona, where they prepared internal press reviews, translated press releases and texts, wrote news articles for the website, managed social media networks, and supported the organization of events. In 2018, they became an Online Campaigns Consultant at R Strategy Group and a Digital Project Manager at 42connect. In 2017, they took on the role of Latin America Correspondent at Ground Handling International. Most recently, in 2019, Marina Co-Founded and became the CEO of Time2Talk, an on-demand platform that connects Spanish students to native speakers from Latin America. Additionally, Marina is a member of the Professional Development Committee at the Ohio Foreign Language Association.

Marina Jackman obtained a Licentiate degree in International Relations and Affairs from Universidad de Belgrano between 2009 and 2013. Marina then went on to pursue a Master in International Political Journalism from Universitat Pompeu Fabra between 2015 and 2016. In October 2016, they obtained a Curso Superior de Marketing Digital from Imagina Business School. Finally, in July 2019, they obtained a Social Marketing Certification from Hootsuite.
