Derek McIntyre has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Derek started their career as a Business Banker at Wells Fargo from 2008 to 2010. Derek then co-founded and managed AngeloSolutions, a technology company in the energy sector, from 2010 to 2014. During their time at AngeloSolutions, the company experienced significant growth and achieved various milestones.

After leaving AngeloSolutions, Derek joined BEPC Inc. as the Director/General Manager of Global Technology Services from 2014 to 2017. In this role, they successfully built and managed global teams, leading projects to refresh IT infrastructure for Fortune 100 companies worldwide.

In 2017, Derek joined TCP Software and took on various leadership roles within the organization. Derek started as the Director of Client Services from 2017 to 2018, then became the Vice President of Operations from 2018 to 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Operating Officer at TCP Software, where they oversee multiple departments, including Customer Success, Legal & Compliance, People Ops, and Corporate Development. Derek has also been actively involved in the company's acquisition activities.

From 2003 to 2008, Derek McIntyre attended Texas A&M University and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Life Science & Business.

In 2017 to 2019, Derek McIntyre pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Angelo State University.

Starting in 2019 and continuing until 2024, Derek McIntyre is currently enrolled at Texas A&M University School of Law, working towards a Master of Jurisprudence degree with a focus on Risk Management.

In 2015, Derek McIntyre participated in the Inner City Capital Connections (ICCC) program, gaining alumni status in the field of Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies.

In addition to their academic education, Derek McIntyre has also obtained several certifications. In 2014, they became a certified Project Manager through ExpertRating Solutions. In 2015, they achieved a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Honeywell Aerospace. In 2017, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. In 2020, they received the Pragmatic PMC - Level I certification from Pragmatic Institute. Furthermore, Derek McIntyre holds a Texas Private Security Registration obtained from the Texas Department of Public Safety in October 2013.
