Geralynd Diaz

Geralynd Diaz has extensive work experience in the healthcare field. Geralynd started their career as a Medical Assistant at King TeleServices, where they worked as a Customer Service Representative. Geralynd then went on to work at various healthcare facilities, including Brookdale Family Care Center, Chai Urgent Care, Kamelhar Teller Pulmonology, and Modern MD Urgent Care, where they gained experience in patient intake, vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, and other medical procedures. Geralynd also maintained exam rooms, stocked supplies, and cleaned and sterilized instruments. Geralynd later worked as a Medical Assistant at CITYMD, BronxCare Health System, Yale New Haven Hospital, and Stamford Health, where they continued to perform similar duties. Geralynd currently works as a Care Coordinator at TimeDoc Health, where they conduct monthly care calls to patients, coordinates access to support and services, and creates a comfortable environment for patients to express themselves.

Geralynd Diaz completed an Associate Degree in Medical Assisting from Mandl The College of Allied Health from 2016 to 2017. In addition, they obtained several certifications, including Certified Medical Assistant and Certified Phlebotomist and EKG Technician in February 2018. Geralynd also holds a PPE Hazard certification from Empire City Laboratories obtained in August 2014 and a Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association obtained in August 2020.
