David Jones has a diverse work experience in the broadcasting industry. David started their career at ITV as a Technical Operator, where they were responsible for vision engineering and media monitoring. After that, they worked as a Business Owner and Freelance Camera Operator at Videa Productions, where they collaborated with clients and other production companies. David then moved on to BBC Television as a Technical Operator, where they worked on VT editing, media trafficking, and liaising with producers and editors. Following their time at the BBC, they worked at SIS LIVE as a Freelance Vision Engineer/Engineering Assistant/Graphics Operator/Driver, where their responsibilities included rigging and de-rigging broadcast equipment and vision engineering. David then held various freelance Vision Engineer roles at Arena Television Limited, NEP Visions, Cloudbass Limited, Timeline Television, Racetech, and Telegenic. Throughout their career, David has gained extensive experience in vision engineering, editing, camera operation, and production.

David Jones has a Master of Arts degree in Television and Video Production from the University of Sunderland, which they obtained in the academic year of 2005 to 2006. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree with honors (2:1) in Broadcast and Multimedia Technology at the University of Sunderland, from 1996 to 2000.
