Bianca Vela Vega has over 15 years of work experience in various roles within the logistics and aviation industry. Bianca started their career at Lufthansa in 2004 as an International Management Trainee, where they worked for two years before joining Lufthansa Cargo AG as an Executive Assistant to the CFO from 2006 to 2008. In 2008, they joined time:matters as the Head of Sales Steering and Communications, where they worked for three years. In 2011, they took on the role of Head of Corporate Development Asia Pacific at time:matters before being promoted to the position of Director for Corporate Services in 2012. During their time at time:matters, they also served as the Director for Corporate Office. Bianca Vela Vega has a strong background in corporate strategy, sales steering, and executive assistance.

Bianca Vela Vega obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Industrial Psychology from Stellenbosch University, where they studied from 2000 to 2002. Bianca later pursued a Diplom Kauffrau degree in Betriebswirtschaft from WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management, completing their studies from 2003 to 2005. During their time at WHU, they also participated in an exchange semester at Université libre de Bruxelles, where they focused on a Master of Business Management program in 2003.
