Mario Niemann

Mario Niemann has extensive experience in IT and digital transformation, currently serving as the Head of Digital Transformation and Director of IT at time:matters since September 2007. Responsibilities include managing the IT department, encompassing software development and infrastructure, as well as overseeing project management with a focus on AI and machine learning initiatives. Previously, Mario led a team in IT Application Development, managing both external developers and internal business analysts to enhance custom booking systems. Early in the career, Mario was an IT Manager responsible for establishing a data warehouse utilizing SAS tools, and served as a Consultant at Lufthansa Systems, facilitating the international rollout of SAP Business One. Mario holds a Bachelor of Science in Informatik from Wilhelm Büchner Hochschule and an IHK certification as a Software Engineer from Lufthansa Systems Business Solutions GmbH.
