Fabrízio de Royes Mello has over 18 years of work experience in the IT industry. In 2003, they began working as the Chief of the Data Processing Center for the Prefeitura Municipal de Bagé. In 2009, they moved to DBSeller Sistemas Integrados as an IT Manager. In 2012, they began volunteering as a Developer for the PostgreSQL Global Development Group. In 2013, they began working as a PostgreSQL Specialist for Timbira. In 2019, they began working as a PostgreSQL Developer for OnGres. Finally, in 2021, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer II and Core Database Developer for Timescale.

Fabrízio de Royes Mello completed a Postgraduate Studies in Computer Software Engineering from UniRitter from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor in Information Systems from Universidade da Região da Campanha - URCAMP from 1996 to 2002.
