Harkishen Singh

Harkishen Singh has been working in the software engineering industry since 2018. In 2018, they were an Angular and React Developer Intern at Bringmyfood.in, where they collaborated in the development of a food delivery infrastructure from scratch using NodeJS and AngularJS. In 2019, they worked part-time as a Software Development Engineer (SDE) at nudge, and was a Google Summer of Code Intern at AOSSIE, where they were involved in the development of web extension APIs, developing visualizations based on user activities, porting extensions for Firefox and Edge browsers, setting up end-to-end testing, and playing with docker images and containers. In 2020, they worked as a Software Engineer at Timescale, and was a Google Summer of Code 2020 Intern at CNCF [Cloud Native Computing Foundation], where they developed Promql rules and expressions formatter/prettifier from scratch, enhanced the YACC generated language parser, improved performance in tsdb, promtool, and added features to the project. Harkishen was also a Product Engineer Intern at TapChief, where they were responsible for adding features to the product platform using Django in the backend and Angular as the frontend, and setting up Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment in Heroku and Google Kubernetes Engine.

Harkishen Singh completed their Higher Secondary Education at Mothers Public School in 2017, earning a Science degree. Harkishen then attended Loyola School from 2004 to 2015, graduating with a High School degree in Science and Maths. Most recently, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Odisha University of Technology and Research in 2021.
