Savannah Jenkins

Savannah Jenkins has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Savannah began their career as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in 2015, where they studied hydrogen production of microorganisms using waste materials. During this time, they also gained experience in enzyme activity testing and gas chromatography.

In 2017, Savannah continued their research work at the same institution, focusing on projects funded by the Air Force. Savannah worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher until 2018.

In 2018, Savannah interned as an Asset Management Intern at Apex Clean Energy. This role provided their with exposure to the clean energy industry.

In 2019, Savannah worked as an Environmental Engineer Intern at Nevada Copper Corp, where they organized permits, created reports, and optimized existing systems for ease of use.

In 2020, Savannah joined the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology as an Undergraduate Research Assistant. Savannah continued this role until 2020.

Most recently, in 2021, Savannah joined Timesys Corporation as a Junior Program Manager. Savannah also gained experience as an Engineering Management Intern within the same company. Savannah'sroles at Timesys Corporation are ongoing.

Savannah Jenkins completed their Bachelor's Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering at South Dakota Mines from 2015 to 2020. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree at Carnegie Mellon University from 2020 to 2022. In their time at Carnegie Mellon, they studied both Civil and Environmental Engineering, as well as Engineering & Innovative Technology Management, focusing on Environmental Engineering Technology/Environmental Technology.
