Joan Poelmann has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Joan started their career as a Conference & Banquet Coordinator at Hilton Amsterdam in 1989 and later worked as a Sales Support Medewerker at Martinair Party Service. In 1995, they became a Projectleider at Benecke Consultants, where they organized medical training sessions and congresses.

Joan then moved on to Albron Party Productions, where they served as the Head of Sales Binnendienst & Adviseur. Joan joined Olympia in 2000 and held the position of Senior National Account Manager, managing key accounts in various sectors. At Olympia, Joan was responsible for client care and building sustainable partnerships.

In 2013, Joan worked as a National & Large Account Manager at Staffing Associates, focusing on acquiring and managing key accounts. Joan then became the Account Director at In Person in 2016, where they helped organizations and individuals make a difference. Currently, Joan is employed at Timing as an Account Director and Senior Sales Manager, specializing in executive work.

Throughout their career, Joan has honed their skills in account management, client care, sales, and event organization. Joan has a strong commercial and service-oriented mindset, aiming to provide exemplary customer service and deliver results.

Joan Poelmann has a diverse education history. In 2021, they obtained a Master's degree in Sales and Key Account Management from ISAM | Institute for Sales And Marketing. Prior to this, they attended Hotelschool Amsterdam from 1986 to 1989. Before their time at Hotelschool Amsterdam, Joan attended MEAO Naarden from 1983 to 1986, where they pursued a Commercial/Economic direction. In 2014, they completed a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification at UNC Delta. In terms of additional certifications, Joan obtained a Train the Trainer certification from Timing in March 2022. Joan also acquired a Score | Sales training certification from Timing in September 2021 and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from UNC Plus Delta in April 2016.
