Michael Byrne

Michael Byrne has extensive work experience in the steel industry. Michael started their career in 2003 as the Director of Research at International Steel group. In 2006, they joined The Timken Company as a Materials Technology expert, where they worked until 2011. At TimkenSteel Corporation, they held the position of Senior Manager, Steel Processing Technology and Strategy, starting in 2011.

Michael Byrne's education history is as follows:

From 1971 to 1975, they attended the University of Strathclyde, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy.

Following that, between 1975 and 1977, they pursued a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania.

Lastly, from 1978 to 1981, they completed their education at the University of Pennsylvania, obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Materials Science and Engineering.
