John Whitington

John Whitington has over 30 years of work experience in the Information Technology field. John began their career in 1987 as a Customer Service representative at Cycare. In 1991, they moved to Aspen Medical Group as a Support Manager, where they led a team of IT and vendor resources through the redesign and implementation of a network infrastructure. From 1999 to 2003, they were the Director of Information Technology at Medical Associates Clinics and Health Plan, where they successfully implemented systems and solutions to meet Y2K requirements. John then moved to Midwest Wireless as the Director of Information Technology, where they directed the effort in negotiation, design and implementation of a state-of-the-art EMC backup to disk system. In 2008, they joined South Country Health Alliance as the Executive Sponsor Health Information Exchange and CIO. During their time there, they were a member of a senior management team that worked with the Minnesota Department of Health and successfully led a team to consolidate the organization's third-party administrators, resulting in a $1,000,000 operational savings. In 2020, they became the Chief Information Officer at Timmaron Group.
