Mallory Alman has a diverse range of work experience in the engineering and research fields. Mallory most recently worked at Timmons Group as a Project Engineer II and previously as a Project Engineer I. Prior to that, they were an Undergraduate Research Team Lead at North Carolina State University. Mallory also worked as a Wastewater Metagenomics Research Scholar at Virginia Tech, where they conducted research on antibiotic resistance genes in wastewater treatment plants. Mallory has also gained international experience as an International Intern at Universidad EARTH. Mallory began their career as a Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern at Hazen and Sawyer. Throughout their various roles, Mallory has developed skills in statistical analysis, laboratory techniques, research paper writing, and presenting.
Mallory Alman attended North Carolina State University from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological and Agricultural Engineering. In March 2021, they obtained their Engineer In Training certification from the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors. Additionally, in January 2021, Mallory obtained certifications including LACP, MACP, and PACP from NASSCO, Inc. Mallory also became Procore Certified as an Engineer in 2017 through Procore Technologies.
